HARNESSING CULTURAL DIPLOMACY THROUGH TEACHING/LEARNING ENGLISH AS A FOREIGN LANGUAGE

Today’s security environment is dramatically different from the one we’ve been engaged in for last 30 years and it requires new ways of thinking acting. By large, concerns a motley tapestry immensely transformed world politics, economy environment, communication, employment, psychological emotional wellbeing, safety security, societal structures, social culture values integrated into global landscape. Importantly, education has always core pillar strength, since EDUCATION involves every aspect human life: culture, power, ideology authorities’ impact. Respectively, are powerful forces that drive youth as stakeholders to reveal their potential change future well globe. In this respect, my strong conviction English Foreign Language (EFL) classroom can considerably contribute culturally versatile development citizenship education. Recently foreign language professors/teachers have become pull push factor sustainable both society its citizens. Delving problem harnessing cultural diplomacy through teaching/learning EFL, study presented an in-depth scientific analysis based on conceptual framework soft power synthesis which aimed at actual multifaceted practices and, accordingly, provided students with opportunities consider own experiences yield fruits skills. The present was designed determine effect contributes effective EFL teaching/learning. One most significant findings emerge teachers provide learners rich socio-cultural awareness living skills, rather than only linguistic training target language.
